Top TNA Star Was Backstage At WWE Money In The Bank

Recently, WWE and TNA Wrestling have been moving forward in a working relationship.

It all started when TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace fell short while challenging NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez for her title at the June 9th NXT Battleground PLE. A few weeks ago, on an episode of WWE NXT, TNA’s Frankie Kazarian and Joe Hendry were among the names in the battle royal won by Je’Von Evans.

TNA then started to welcome WWE talent. At Against All Odds, Grace defended her title in an open challenge, which was answered by NXT’s Tatum Paxley, who lost. Several WWE stars appeared at the most recent TV tapings.

PWInsider.com reports former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Josh Alexander and TNA ring announcer Jade Chung were backstage at WWE Money in the Bank in Toronto. Because the show was in the city, the married couple was visiting.

More crossover between WWE and TNA talent is expected to happen in the coming weeks. Click here for complete WWE Money in the Bank results.
