A new report from Fightful Select has learned that contracts for a number of TNA talents are set to expire at the end of the year. Among those whose deals are coming up is top TNA star, Mustafa Ali.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful confirmed that Ali’s TNA contract runs through the end of 2025. Ali, the leader of the Order 4 faction, has been a dependable star for TNA since his arrival and has been heavily featured in the NXTNA crossover storyline. Mustafa Ali previously confirmed his contract signing with TNA to Sports Illustrated early this year.
The Fightful report notes that as his contract expiration approaches, Ali “appears to be keeping his options open as of now.” This news has fueled speculation about a potential return to WWE, especially given his recent involvement in the crossover.
Ali was reportedly “welcomed back” to NXT when he appeared for a match against Ethan Page on October 7. Furthermore, the report states that WWE’s Shawn Michaels has “long been a big advocate” of Ali.
Ali was released from his WWE contract in September 2023 but has since made a name for himself on the independent circuit and in TNA, where he is a former TNA X Division Champion. Ali has yet to issue a statement about his future plans.
