Top TNA Wrestling star is taking “a break” from the company

TNA Wrestling will not have one of its biggest stars on television when they rebrand in January at the Hard to Kill pay-per-view event.

Mickie James has done it all in the wrestling business, including runs in WWE and Impact Wrestling. She has been wrestling in Impact Wrestling in recent years following her WWE departure during the pandemic.

She is a five-time WWE Women’s Champion, former WWE Divas Champion, and a five-time Impact Knockouts Champion. She challenged Trinity for the Knockouts Title at Bound for Glory last month, marking her most recent match with the company.

Many fans have noticed James is no longer listed as an active competitor on the company’s website roster.

Pwinsider reports the relationship between the two sides remains fine. However, James is taking what was described as “a break” from the company and that she could return “at any time.”
