On Thursday, Velvet Sky did an interview with WNPR.org where she talked about retirement from the wrestling business. Today, she took to Twitter to clear up what was said in the interview.
She noted that while she is retired from in-ring action, she still plans on making wrestling-related appearances. She wrote, “Just want to reiterate, I am only retired from in ring action and not the wrestling world in it’s entirety. I am still very much active in doing autograph signings and conventions as well as other meet & greet appearances. The article put emphasis on me being “retired” from the industry as a whole, which is not true. Using the word retired as a blanket statement does not represent my current status in the wrestling industry. Thank you all for your outpouring of support.”
So there you have it. You will still get a chance to see her at meet & greets and conventions.
"Retired" was not the correct word to have been used in the article from yesterday. Please read my true & current status below. pic.twitter.com/52X174OUKv
