#1 Anthony Johnson is scheduled to fight #3 Daniel Cormier this Saturday night at UFC 187 for the UFC Light Heavyweight Title. Johnson commented on whether if Jon Jones or Daniel Cormier is a tougher fight.
“I really mean (this is a tougher fight),” Johnson said at Wednesday’s pre-fight workouts. “This is ‘DC’s’ second chance. When people get second chances they tend to go a little bit harder. He’s going to come at me like a bulldog and I expect that. The fact that I expect it means it won’t surprise me with anything he brings. I know what I’m getting myself into and so does he.”

In his last five bouts, he beat Andrei Arlovski in March of 2013 by unanimous decision and then Mike Kyle in January of 2014 by first round knockout while fighting under the WSOF banner. He returned to the UFC at UFC 172 with a win over Phil Davis by unanimous decision. He then knocked out Antonio Nogueira in July of 2014 and Alexander Gustafsson in January of 2015 during the first round.
UFC 187 goes down this Saturday (May 23) from Las Vegas a the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The event will air live on pay-per-view, Fox Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
