Al Iaquinta compares Jorge Masvidal to Kimbo Slice

Al Iaquinta is scheduled to fight Jorge Masvidal tomorrow morning at UFC Fight Night 63 and compared Masiwal to Kimbo Slice.

“I’ve been in my fair share of street fights,” Iaquinta said. “It’s pretty cool he was in there with Kimbo. He’s like the real Kimbo Slice. He’s actually made a career out of it and got to the top of the game.”

Al Iaquinta (11-3) 6 KOs, 1 Subs & 4 Decision wins. AL is also 4-1 in his last five fights and is also riding a three fight winning streak. He beat Kevin Lee at UFC 169 by unanimous decision, but then lost to Mitch Clarke by second round Brabo choke at UFC 173. He then knocked out Rodrigo Damm in September of 2014 in the third round, Ross Pearson in November in the second round, and then Joe Lauzon at UFC 183 in the second round.

Jorge Masvidal (28-8) 10 KOs, 2 Subs & 16 Decision wins. Masvidal is 4-1 in his last five fights and currently riding a three fight winning streak. He beat Michael Chiesa in July of 2013 by Brabo choke in the second round, but then lost to Rustam Khabilov in November of 2013 by unanimous decision. He then beat Pat Healy at UFC on Fox 11, Daron Cruickshank in July of 2014 and then James Krause at UFC 178 last September all by unanimous decision. That is a big time stat when it comes to his last four fights all went to decision.

UFC Fight Night 63 goes down on April 4, 2015 at the Patriot Center in  Fairfax, Virginia and will air on Fox Sports 1.
