UFC President Dana White wants to see Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier in the Octagon before Cormier retires.
TMZ Sports caught up with White in Los Angeles and they asked him about the potential fight between Cormier and Brock Lesnar. White didn’t seem 100 percent sure that the fight would happen.
“I don’t know, we don’t know that either yet,” White said about the potential Cormier-Lesnar fight.
For what it’s worth, although he is in the USADA testing pool, Lesnar has yet to sign his fight contract and no date has been set for a fight with Cormier.
White added that Cormier’s team wants him to retire right now but hopes to get three fights out of him. Cormier has previously said that he wants to retire in March when he turns 40.
White added, “Cormier’s team wants him to retire now. They want him to retire right now. I hope we can get three more fights out of him.”
