Gina Carano was asked last night on the Arsenio Hall Show if she would be willing to fight for UFC. She said, “Yeah, I’m actually sitting down with him next week.”
She followed with, “I love it. It’s something I can do to make everything disappear I didn’t know if I’ d have the opportunity to make a comeback. I’m either going to do it now, or I’m going to retire and never do it.”
A Gina Carano vs. Ronda Rousey fight would be the biggest fight in the history of Women’s Mixed Martial Arts and could be among the biggest money making fights in UFC history. UFC can build the fight using Strikeforce footage, which they own. Carano’s fight with Cyborg in 2009 was the highest rated MMA fight on Showtime.
