Former WWE Superstar Jake Hager (Jack Swagger) has received an opponent for his second pro-MMA fight.
The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion has signed a contract with Bellator MMA and already competed inside of the cage. On Wednesday, the promotion revealed that he’ll take on T.J. Jones (1-1) at the upcoming Bellator 221 event.
He made his Bellator debut when he beat J.W. Kiser by first-round arm triangle choke on the main card of Bellator 214. This fight that took place on January 26, 2019 at The Forum in Inglewood, California on Paramount Network and DAZN.
Featherweight champion Patricio “Pitbull” Freire is slated to jump up to 155 pounds to challenge lightweight champion Michael Chandler in the headliner. Undefeated rising star A.J. McKee vs. former featherweight champion Pat Curran and Douglas Lima facing Michael Page is also set for the show.
The Bellator 221 event goes down on May 11th at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois and will air on DAZN.
