Jimi Manuwa defeated Jan Blachowicz via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 64.
“I tore my meniscus and MCL and ACL, as well,” Manuwa said at the post-fight presser. “They told me I shouldn’t fight.”

Manuwa then went to knockout Kyle Kingsbury in September of 2012 in the second round in his UFC debut. His next two fights he won by TKO, he beat Cyrille Diabate in February of 2013 and then Ryan Jimmo in October of 2013. In his next bout and his last bout prior to UFC Fight Night 63, he lost to Alexander Gustafsson by second round TKO in March of 2014. He is coming off a Unanimous Decision victory over Jan Blachowicz at UFC Fight Night 64.
“It was a big decision for me and the team, but we had to go through with it,” Manuwa said.
UFC Fight Night 64 took place on Saturday (April 11) at Krakow Arena in Krakow, Poland on UFC Fight Pass.
“I felt I had more energy in the third round than I did the second,” he said. “That gave me a lot of confidence, and my coach says it’s good for my confidence knowing I can do three rounds.”
UFC Fight Night 64 drew an announced attendance of 10,000 for a live gate of $720,000.
