Luke Rockhold is scheduled to fight Lyoto Machida this Saturday night at UFC on Fox 15 in the main event and spoke about how if he can win on Saturday then he has a good chance at a title shot.

“Lyoto’s dangerous if you allow him to fight his fight. It’s not his fight. This is my fight.”

Luke Rockhold (13-2) 3 KO, 8 Sub & 2 DEC wins. Rockhold is 4-1 in his last five fights and coming into UFC on Fox 15, he is on a three fight winning streak.

“I look to be on the top from here on out,” Rockhold said. “That’s what my focus is: winning fights and staying on top. I believe I deserve to be there.”

Rockhold beat Tim Kennedy in June of 2012 under the Strikeforce banner by a five-round decision victory. He made his UFC debut against Vitor Belfort, but lost by first round head kick in May of 2013. He then went on to beat Costas Philippou in January of 2014 by first round kick to the body knockout. Then beat Tim Boetsch at UFC 172 by first round triangle kimura.

“This is my golden ticket. I’ve got to go out there and perform and take my title shot.”

In his next and latest bout, he beat Michael Bisping in November of 2014 by second round guillotine choke.
