Medical suspensions revealed from UFC on Fox 15



UFC on Fox 15 took place on Saturday, April 18th in Newark, NJ at the Prudential Center and aired on Fox and Fight Pass.

The main event was a middleweight bout between Luke Rockhold (13-2) and Lyoto Machida (22-5) and the co-main event was Chris Camozzi vs. Ronaldo Souza.

The event drew an announced attendance of 13,306 for a live gate of $1.2 million.

Down below are the entire medical suspensions, courtesy of the New Jersey Athletic Commision:

  • Light Machida: Suspended indefinitely until physician clears head with CT scan
  • Chris Camozzi: Suspended indefinitely until physician clears right elbow
  • Max Holloway: Suspended indefinitely until physician clears left wrist with X-ray
  • Cub Swanson: Suspended indefinitely until physician clears jaw (X-ray), head (CT scan) and right thumb (X-ray)
  • Felice Herrig: Suspended indefinitely until physician clears head and facial bones (CT scan); regardless, suspended 45 days with no contact during training for 45 days for precautionary reasons
  • Beneil Dariush: Suspended 30 days due to chin laceration
  • Patrick Cummins: Suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days for precautionary reasons
  • Corey Anderson: Suspended indefinitely until physician clears head (CT scan) and mandible; regardless, suspended 45 days with no contact during training for 45 days due to chin laceration
  • Gian Villante: Suspended indefinitely until physician clears right ankle/foot
  • Aljamain Sterling: Suspended indefinitely until physician clears right hand and right pelvic (X-ray)
  • Takeya Mizugaki: Suspended indefinitely until physician clears left knee
  • George Sullivan: Suspended 30 days with no contact for 30 days for precautionary reasons
  • Jimy Hettes: Suspended 60 days due to ear laceration
  • Chris Dempsey: Suspended 60 days due to facial lacerations
