Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic knocks out Gabriel Gonzaga at UFC Fight Night 64

UFC Fight Night 64 took place on Saturday (April 11) at Krakow Arena in Krakow, Poland on UFC Fight Pass.

Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic defeated Gabriel Gonzaga via TKO (punches) – Round 3, 3:30 in the main event of UFC Fight Fight Night 64.

Mirko Filipovic (31-11) 23 KOs, 5 Subs & 3 DEC wins. He is currently on a three fight winning streak prior to UFC Fight Night 64. In his last six bouts, he lost to Roy Nelson at UFC 137 by third round TKO. He left the UFC and went to the IGF promotion. He beat Shinichi Suzukawa by first round armbar in December of 2012, but then lost to Alexey Olenik in November of 2013 by first round neck crank. Filipovic has since rattled off two second round TKO over Satoshi Ishii in August and then over Ishii again in December. Filipovic is coming off a win over Gabriel Gonzaga by third round TKO.

#14 Gabriel Gonzaga (16-10) 7 KOs, 9 Subs & 0 DEC wins. Gonzaga is 2-4 in his last six fights. He is currently riding a three fight losing streak. He lost to Travis Browne in April of 2013 by 1st round TKO, but then won his next two fights. He beat Dave Herman at UFC 162 by 1st round knockout and then over Shawn Jordan at UFC 166 by first round knockout. He lost to Stipe Miocic in January of 2014 by unanimous decision and then to Matt Mitrione in December of 2014 by 1st round TKO. Gonzaga is coming off a loss to Mirko Filipovic by third round TKO.
