Nate Diaz says that Jose Aldo should have slapped Conor McGregor for taking his title

UFC Featherweight Title contender Conor McGregor meets Jose Aldo © at UFC 189 for the strap, but Nate Diaz is the one talking about the fight and all the drama that has come around it. As seen at the last UFC 189 world tour press conference, McGregor grabbed Aldo’s title, which saw them have a series face off. Nate Diaz commented on McGregor’s move.

“[Aldo’s] team is f**king up,” Diaz said on Monday’s episode of The MMA Hour. “Because let me tell you something: if I had Conor fighting somebody like that, and they were going to make sure one of the guys gets up in your face, you smack his ass to the floor. You know what I’m saying? You don’t let somebody do that. Or just laugh at him. Like, [Aldo] got all bent out of shape when the guy took his belt. He should’ve just laughed at him, been like, ‘Keep the belt. This ain’t about the belt. It’s about your ass whooping.’ I would’ve let him have it. Take that home and put it on.”

UFC 189 takes place on July 11, 2015 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This event will be shown on pay-per-view, Fox Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
