Oscar De La Hoya responds to Dana White's 'cokehead' comments

Oscar De La Hoya is firing back at Dana White after the UFC President called De La Hoya a 'cokehead' and ripped him for allowing Chuck Liddell to fight on Saturday night.

White is upset because he feels like De La Hoya signed Liddell for the fight because he cared more about money instead of Liddell's health.

"Dana is so small and threatened by our success with DAZN and now in MMA that he is bringing up news from a decade ago to try to stay relevant," De La Hoya said in a statement to TMZ.

"Boxing has entirely rejected him. And MMA fighters are now realizing they don’t have to risk their lives just so he can get rich."

He added, "Golden Boy and I are moving forward and are bigger than ever. Dana should shut the f*ck up and try to figure out how to save his own company."

DAZN is a streaming app and they recently worked out a deal with De La Hoya for rights to Canelo Alvarez's fights and the deal is worth $365 million for 5 years and 11 fights.

Something tells me this war of words is far from over.
