Timothy Johnson swarms Shamil Abdurahimov with punches late in round one at UFC Fight Night 63

UFC Fight Night 63 took place on April 4, 2015 at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia and aired on Fox Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.

Round 1: TJ presses forward early, TJ threw a leg kick, but caught. Abdurahimov let him go. Abdurahimov with a good right hand, TJ swarms him with punches, but misses all of them. Abdurahimov stays calm and clinches with him on the fence. TJ pushes him off, he has a small mouse under his right eye. Abdurahimov misses a straight right hand, TJ with other punches in bunches and misses all of them. Accuracy man! TJ clinches and puts Abdurahimov on the fence. Abdurahimov reverses and they break. The referee takes one point away from Abdurahimov after holding onto the fence. Back to the action, Abdurahimov misses a wild spinning kick. Abdurahimov is doing well with his footwork. TJ clinches and tries to toss him. But can’t. TJ clinches, puts Abdurahimov on the fence. They break at 1:34. TJ threw leg kick, but Abdurahimov catches it and throws him to the ground. TJ gets back to his feet. TJ with a good uppercut, then a straight left. Abdurahimov answers with a straight right. TJ gets a single leg takedown, he passes and mounts Abdurahimov. TJ with punches in bunches that sees the referee stop it.
