Urijah Faber thinks the reason he loss to Frankie Edgar at UFC Fight Night 67 is because of dead time

Urijah Faber appeared on yesterday’s episode of the MMA Hour to comment on his loss to Frankie Edgar at UFC Fight Night 67 and down below is what he said:

"For me, that was dead time in there," Faber said. "And that's kind of the difference. Could I have done some takedown attempts and try to wrestle a little bit? Yeah. But I don't feel like it was the best move to finish the fight. So that's why I wasn't going for as much wrestling."

Urijah Faber (32-8) 7 KOs, 19 Subs, 5 decision wins in his career and is 4-2 in his last six bouts. He is currently on a one-fight losing streak. In his last six bouts, he beat Yuri Alcantara in August of 2013 by unanimous decision and the submitted Michael McDonald in December of 2013 by second-round guillotine choke. He lost against Renan Baro at UFC 169 by first round TKO. He has since rebounded since, he beat Alex Caceres at UFC 175 by third round rear-naked choke and then beat Francisco Rivera at UFC 181 by second round bulldog choke. He’s coming off a decision loss to Frankie Edgar at UFC Fight Night 66.
