Tomorrow night’s massive UFC 229 pay-per-view main event is set. UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov will defend his title against UFC mega-star Conor McGregor. McGregor will make his Octagon return after two years of absence. The Irishman was stripped of the 155-pound title earlier this year due to inactivity.
Khabib won the vacant strap at UFC 223 by defeating Al Iaquinta. Now, McGregor will attempt to recapture the title he never lost. This morning, the official weigh-ins for the event took place. Khabib, who has had issues making weight in the past, was first up on the scale.
Luckily, “The Eagle” made weight and now seems to be ready to go for Saturday night. Check out his weigh-in video here:
As for McGregor, he had some fans worried when he showed up to weigh-in as one of the last fighters. It was reported shortly before that Mcgregor had decided to sleep in that morning. However, when the Irishman showed up to weigh-in, he was on weight, in fact weighing in below 155 pounds, at 154. Check out his weigh-in video here:
