There are many surprises being rumored for tonight’s show and one has been confirmed.
As was noted earlier this month, Naomi (Trinity Fatu) has finished up her commitments with TNA Impact Wrestling and the belief was that she would be returning to WWE. PWInsider has confirmed that Naomi is expected to be part of the Women’s Royal Rumble match as one of the surprise entrants.
This would be Naomi’s first WWE appearance since she and Sasha Banks walked out of a Raw taping in May of 2022. Days after they walked out, the company announced that they would be indefinitely suspended. Both women became free agents several months later. Mone has worked for New Japan Pro Wrestling but has been on the shelf with an injury. She’s rumored to be going to AEW. Naomi went to TNA and won the Knockouts Championship and then dropped it to Jordynne Grace at the Hard To Kill pay-per-view.
The belief is that Naomi/Trinity is signed to a full-time deal and she starts back with WWE tonight.
