Not every time wrestlers work together in the ring in WWE will be the first time they’ve touched, as most of the main roster talent are independent wrestlers who have wrestled countless people outside of WWE or have wrestled people in NXT before making it to the main roster.
For Nikki Cross, she is slated to wrestle Tegan Nox again, but it will be the first time in ten years that she’s done so and the first time in WWE.
Cross’ most recent match happened on the May 8th edition of Raw when she lost to Zoey Stark. Cross appeared in a backstage segment with Stark and Candice LeRae this past week on Raw.
For Nox, she last worked a televised match when she and Emma lost to Women’s Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez on an episode of SmackDown.
Cross took to Twitter to share the personal meeting behind the match and hype the Main Event bout that will air today on Hulu.
