WWE’s Chief Brand Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque kicked off the second hour of Monday Night Raw to make a “huge announcement.” Corey Graves described it as something that would “rock the foundation of WWE.”
Triple H said that he wants to ensure that WWE is “all that it could be” for generations going forward. (See the video below).
Triple H said that Roman Reigns negotiated into his contract that he would wrestle less and defend his title less often. Triple H said that Reigns will take the Undisputed Universal Championship with him in the WWE Draft but the other brand will determine a new champion.
On Saturday, May 27 at Night of Champions, a new World Heavyweight Champion will be crowned and that person will defend “anywhere, any place, anytime, all over the world.”
