Absent AEW star slated to return soon

AEW has a lot of talent under contract, and not everyone can be used, whether that is due to lack of creative, injury, or personal time needed. With those variables in place, wrestlers can slip through the cracks and not be featured on television.

Absence

In the case of PAC, he’s been on the sidelines with an injury. His last match happened on the July 26th episode of Dynamite, where he beat Gravity.

Tony Schiavone announced on an episode of Rampage in August that PAC was sidelined with an injury, although the nature of it wasn’t disclosed. He had been previously injured and only worked three matches in between injuries, including the Blood & Guts match, teaming with the Blackpool Combat Club and Konosuke Takeshita, where they lost to The Golden Elite (Hangman Page, Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi, and The Young Bucks).

The return

During a Highspots virtual signing, Penta El Zero Miedo said that PAC would return soon. While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer also confirmed that PAC is coming back soon.

“He’s back soon, I know that. [been gone] A long, long time. Yeah, he’s not a game-changer, but he’s certainly a great wrestler to put on television and matches. You know what I mean? So so good,” Meltzer stated.
