Heading into AEW’s next pay-per-view event, Full Gear, on Saturday from LA, AEW President Tony Khan has provided the final data on the promotion’s biggest show in company history with its All In pay-per-view event in August in London, England, at Wembley Stadium.
The first show
The show opened with CM Punk’s last match in AEW as he went over Samoa Joe in the opening contest, and it closed with MJF retaining the World Heavyweight Title over Adam Cole. The show brought in over 70,000 at the turnstile.
They’ve already confirmed All In 2, which goes down on Sunday, August 25, with pre-sale tickets going on sale November 27 before the general on sale on December 1.
The record
While speaking on the AEW Full Gear media call on Thursday, Khan announced that All In ended up at 200,000 buys on PPV. The show is the most purchased AEW PPV event of 2023 and the biggest since last year’s Double or Nothing.
The company’s record was set with 205,000 for All Out 2021, which featured the in-ring return of CM Punk and Kenny Omega vs. Christian for the AEW World Heavyweight Title.
