If you did not watch tonight’s AEW Collision, then I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you do because the show started off with one of the best matches ever in AEW history and it’s sure to be a contender for Match of the Year.
FTR vs. Jay White and Juice Robinson started the show in a 2 out of 3 falls match. As someone who has seen many 2 out of 3 fall matches going back to the NWA/WCW years, this may be the best one I’ve ever seen. NOTE: Match spoiler below.
After 3 falls with fantastic pro wrestling, tons of close near falls and a hot crowd to amplify everything, FTR won via submission just before the 60-minute time limit. It was Dax who submitted Juice with the sharpshooter to retain the titles. FTR went to shake their hands after the match but Juice and Jay spit on them and walked off.
