Backstage, Darby Allin told Keith Lee he knows he doesn’t want to team with Swerve Strickland. At one time, Lee was one of the most dominant champions here and now he feels like he’s been lost in the shuffle since losing the tag team championships. Allin told him to do something about it, even if he has to win this match by himself. He told Lee to pull his head out of his ass and take this seriously, or he can sit on the apron and cry about it.
Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament Quarter-Final
Orange Cassidy & Darby Allin vs Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland (w/ Prince Nana)
Cassidy had Lee pinned. Strickland came off the top rope with a 450 splash to break up the pin, but Cassidy moved out of the way and Strickland splashed Lee. Strickland and Nana were laughing about this. Strickland went for a step up enziguri on Cassidy, but Cassidy ducked and Strickland kicked Lee. Allin rolled up Strickland for the pin.
===Winners: Orange Cassidy & Darby Allin
In a pre-taped segment, Darby Allin said that Buddy Wayne trained him in 2014. While he was there, Buddy’s son, Nick Wayne used to run around the ring back then when he was eight years old. In 2017, Allin got a text message that Buddy Wayne passed away and he vowed to watch over Nick Wayne. Allin went to Tony Khan and asked him to sign him at age 16 because he’s that good. Now that Nick is 18, he is ready to compete in AEW.
Backstage, Jack Perry arrived and said he’s going to Tony Khan now to demand an FTW title match. Hook attacked Perry. Perry jumped back in his vehicle and drove off.
In a pre-taped segment, they showed MJF and Adam Cole earlier in the week working out in the gym.
The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) & Daddy Ass vs The Blade & The Bollywood Boyz
Max Caster gave one of The Bollywood Boyz the mic drop and pinned him.
===Winners: The Acclaimed & Daddy Ass
After the match, Harley Cameron appeared on the video wall. She told Bowens that she put together a video for next week that will show that she is the most talented musician on the roster.
Footage from Tokyo was shown of Eddie Kingston defeating Kenta for the New Japan Strong Openweight Championship.
In a pre-tape, Jon Moxley said him and Eddie Kingston are the exact same people they were when he met him in 2009. They both made it out and they both got everything they wanted out of this business. He doesn’t understand why Kingston walks around mad all the time. It pisses Moxley off how much time Kingston wastes complaining how the new generation has no respect and no work ethic. Moxley has a dream of Kingston letting the past be the past and embrace the future. Moxley told Kingston to answer his phone.
In the back, Matt Hardy found out his partner in the Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament is Jeff Jarrett.
In a pre-taped interview, Wheeler Yuta said he is going to end Kenny Omega tonight.
In the ring, Chris Jericho said over the last few months, he has had a lot of big losses and things haven’t been going the way he wanted them to. He thinks this is the perfect place to make some changes in Alberta as this is where he started his career. Don Callis came to the ring and asked Jericho if he would join the Don Callis Family. Jericho said maybe and left the ring.
In a pre-tape CM Punk said he wasn’t able to defeat Samoa Joe in the past, but he will this Saturday on Collision.
In the back, Doc Sampson said Roderick Strong is making progress, but with his history, they are going to take their time to get him back to 100%. Strong said he feels amazing. Adam Cole came in and told Strong to take his time coming back. Strong asked Cole what the deal was with him and MJF. Cole said not to worry about him as he has everything under control and he made it clear to MJF that he has his boundaries, and then received a text from MJF.
Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament Quarter-Final
MJF & Adam Cole vs Matt Menard & The Butcher
MJF asked them to cut his music when he came out so they could play Cole’s music. MJF asked to tag in so they can do a double clothesline, but Cole didn’t tag out. Cole gave Menard a running knee to the back of Menard’s head and pinned him.
===Winners: MJF & Adam Cole
After the match, MJF asked the crowd if there were any devil worshipers in the crowd. The crowd chanted for MJF. MJF then asked if there were any fans of the other guy in the ring with the cool name, and the crowd cheered. MJF told Cole he thinks they would have done a better job if they would have done a double clothesline. MJF told Cole they should have another bro session and Cole agreed. MJF then led the crowd to chant Happy Birthday to Cole. MJF had a crew come down with a small birthday cake and told Cole to make a wish. Cole blew out the one candle on the cake. MJF went to shove Cole’s face in the cake, but Cole turned him around and shoved his face in the cake. Cole said he means this with all sincerity that it was nice what MJF did for his birthday and thanked him.
Backstage, Britt Baker said she is going to beat Ruby Soho in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament just like she did last year in the finals.
Backstage, Daniel Garcia told Chris Jericho that he and Sammy Guevera are his family and they need him. Jericho said that it was a maybe, but they can’t be under his wing forever. They need to branch out and do good things without him leading them. Rene Paquette said she found out Garcia and Guevera are partners in the Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament. Jericho said that’s perfect because they can prove to him that they can win the tournament and the AEW Tag Team titles on their own without him.
Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament Quarter-Final Match
Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. vs Ruby Soho (w/ Toni Storm & Saraya)
Saraya got on the ring apron to distract the referee. On the other side of the ring, Storm held Baker’s Owen Hart championship belt on the corner and Soho rammed Baker’s face into it. Soho kicked Baker in the head. The referee turned around to count the pin, but Soho only got a two-count. Soho went for the lockjaw, but Baker reversed it. Storm and Saraya dragged Soho to the ropes. Baker went outside the ring, kicked Saraya, and threw a forearm to Storm. Baker threw Soho back in the ring. Baker went for the victory roll, but Soho reversed it into a rollup and pinned her while holding onto Storm for leverage.

After the match, Claudio Castagnoli and Takeshita attacked Omega. The Young Bucks and Adam Page came in for the save. The Young Bucks gave Claudio the BTE Trigger. Page went to hit Claudio with the chair, but The Dark Order came from behind and grabbed it from him as the show went off the air.
