Orange Cassidy, Hook, and Katsuyori Shibata were backstage. Cassidy said he has an announcement, but Wheeler Yuta interrupted him before he could speak. Yuta told Shibata that he will regain the Pure Rules Championship.

MJF and Adam Cole came to the ring. Cole said I’m nowhere near ready to walk, let alone wrestle. The lights went out and a picture of the devil appeared on the screen. The lights came back on and Samoa Joe made his way to the ring. Joe said I’m out here to make sure you’re honoring our deal where I get my rematch for the AEW Championship. MJF said something that was bleeped out. Joe charged after him, but Cole told him to stop. Cole told MJF that’s what the old MJF would do. You promised Joe a championship match so be a man of your word. MJF told Joe you wouldn’t be the first Ring of Honor legend I beat in Chicago twice, so let’s do this now. Joe said absolutely not. You’re going to complain tomorrow that you weren’t at 100%. I want the best version of you when you’re healed. I say by World’s End, you should be ready to defend the title. MJF said you got yourself a deal and they shook hands. Joe said I’m going to consider you my property. Wherever you go, I got your back. I’m going to deliver the very best MJF at World’s End, strangle you unconscious, and take that belt from you.

Orange Cassidy, Hook, and Katsuyori Shibata (w/ Danhausen) vs Jake Hager, Matt Menard, & Angelo Parker

In the ring, Christian said I didn’t lose the match at Full Gear. Luchasaurus is the one who lost the match. I’m going to recreate you in my image. He told Luchasaurus to take a knee. Christian told Luchasaurus that from now on, you will be known as Killswitch. Nick Wayne took a knee. Christian told Nick Wayne to get up. Christian told him you will never take a knee for anybody. You’re the son I always wanted and now I have. You are my golden boy and you will be known as The Prodigy Nick Wayne. Nick’s mom got in the ring. Christian told Nick’s mom she is a horrible mom who made $40,000 a year as a waitress. I’m a legend who can give Nick the world and you can’t give him anything. It’s a good thing that your husband is dead because Nick would have disowned his father because he realizes his father was never as good of a wrestler as I am and nowhere near the father I am. Christian told her to get out of the ring and get ready to punch the clock at Denny’s. Luchasaurus got up off his knees and got between them. Christian told him to get back on his knees. When he didn’t, Christian slapped him in the face. Christian pushed Luchasaurus and he fell backwards crashing into Nick’s mom. Nick grabbed a chair from underneath the ring and slid it to Christian. Christian was going to give Nick’s mom a concerto, but stopped and gave the chair to Luchasaurus. Backstage, Jake Hager was mad that Danhausen put his hat on. Ana Jay told Hager, Matt Menard, and Angelo Parker that I just want to wrestle. I’m tired of you guys arguing and I’m tired of losing. I don’t know if you’re here to help me or hurt me, but tonight I’m going to help myself and hurt someone. Ruby Soho’s picture appeared on Parker’s phone. Ana Jay asked if he was going to be in her corner and Parker said, of course.
