Claudio Castagnoli came in for the save and gave Bill an uppercut.
===Winner: Jon Moxley

Backstage, Adam Cole told Roderick Strong it’s a bad idea for him to fight Samoa Joe tonight because Joe could break his neck. Strong said The Kingdom believes in him and the only person Cole believes in is Max. After he beats Joe tonight, he’s going on to win the AEW Championship.

In the ring, Don Callis said when you beat Kenny Omega, you’re the ace. When you beat him twice in seven days, you’re The Alpha and that’s what Takeshita will be referred to going forward. The next target of the Don Callis family is Kota Ibushi.

Backstage, Bryan Danielson challenged Big Bill and Ricky Starks to face him and Claudio Castagnoli this week on Collision. Penta came in and told Jon Moxley he is going to beat him next week as referees held him back while Eddie Kingston and Claudio had a staredown.

4-Way Match to determine the No. 1 Contender for the AEW Women’s Championship
Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. vs Hikaru Shida vs Nyla Rose vs Toni Storm

Rose gave Baker a side slam. Shida gave Rose a knee strike to her back followed by a Katana. Shida went for the pin on Rose, but Baker kicked her in the side of head and gave her a curb stomp. Baker rolled up Baker from behind and pinned her. Shida was upset with Baker after the match.
===Winner: Toni Storm

Backstage, Saraya said she is proud of Toni Storm. Saraya said last year she was the new kid on the block and Storm was the champion, but she lost it. She also lost her friends and her top spot as the biggest star. She also lost her mind and called her crazy. She is also going to lose her match at Grand Slam and will be left with nothing.

In the ring, Chris Jericho said he will be facing Sammy Guevera next week at Grand Slam and showed a video package of their history in AEW. Jericho said he brought Guevera into AEW and watched him grow. Guevera thanked him but he didn’t come to AEW to be his sidekick. He got into wrestling to be the world champion so he needs to beat him next week. Jericho agreed with Guevera and told him he has to be better than he’s ever been to beat him, but he doesn’t feel Guevera is ready to beat him yet. Guevera said he’s going to beat him next week and earn his respect. Then they are going to shake hands and win the tag team titles. Guevera reached out to shake Jericho’s hand. Jericho shook his hand, pulled him close, and said next week he’s going to give him the match of his life and beat the living hell out of him and he expects the same from him.

They showed footage from last week where the medical doctor said MJF can’t compete next week, but he will be ready for Grand Slam. He said he believes Roderick Strong is faking his neck injury and he is not afraid of Samoa Joe.

Brian Cage (w/ Prince Nana) vs Hangman Adam Page

Page went for the Buckshot Lariat, but Cage caught him. Page escaped and cradled Cage for a two-count. Page gave him the Deadeye and pinned him.

Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament Final

Joe was setting up Strong for the Muscle Buster. Bennett got on the ring apron and Joe punched him. Strong gave Joe the Angle Slam and a Sick Kick for a two-count. Strong charged at Joe who caught him with a clothesline. Joe put Strong in the choke and Strong tapped out.
===Winner: Samoa Joe

In the ring, Samoa Joe said next week he’s going to defeat MJF at Grand Slam and take everything from him and left the ring.

Strong got up, but when he saw Adam Cole come down to the ring, he fell down and held his neck. The medical team came in, put a brace on his neck, and took him away on a stretcher. Cole was trying to walk to the back with Strong, but Bennett and Taven stopped him. Joe came behind Cole and choked him out.
