AEW International Champion Roderick Strong vs. Kyle O’Reilly took place at the AEW Dynasty pay-per-view event from the Chaifetz Arena in St Louis, MO.
Both guys were equal in the early going with Strong getting the advantage to get some heat. Strong targeted the neck and back of Kyle. Strong with several back breakers. Kyle fought back with a back suplex into a knee bar. Kyle tied up Strong in the ropes and hit a knee drop off the top rope then another one into a knee bar. They traded knee strikes then forearm shots. A hard-hitting bout. Wardlow came out and was going to get in the ring, but was noticed by the referee. Kyle no sold a gut buster with a clothesline then a brain buster for 2. Strong went over with his finisher. Adam Col;e and the rest of the Kingdom appeared with Cole walking out to the ring as Cole was no longer in a wheelchair.
