AEW files trademark for current PPV event

AEW filed for the trademark rights to the “Double or Nothing,” their biggest pay-per-view event they present annually.

The company did so through Bradley M Stohry of Reichel Stohry Dean LLP in Indianapolis on April 27th with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). It’s listed for merchandising. Here is the description:

“Mark For: DOUBLE OR NOTHING™ trademark registration is intended to cover the category of shirts.”

This year’s event takes place on May 28, 2023, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Currently, MJF is slated to defend the AEW World Heavyweight Title against Sammy Guevara at the event. However, on Wednesday’s Dynamite, MJF & Guevara vs. Darby Allin & “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry will take place. If Allin and Perry win, they’ll be added to the bout and it will be a fatal 4-way match at Double or Nothing for the top prize in All Elite Wrestling.
