AEW has locked down the trademark rights to the new name of Bear Country as the team will now be known as The Iron Savages.
At last Sunday’s Dark tapings, their new name was revealed in addition to them being paired with JT Davidson as their manager.
The company filed for the term on August 22 under the entertainment services classification with The United States Patent and Trademark Office. Here is the description:
“Mark For: THE IRON SAVAGES trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a group or individual wrestlers; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a group or individual wrestlers; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer.”

Since 2017, Bear Boulder and Bear Bronson have teamed together. In 2020, they began working for AEW.
Their first AEW match was on the December 3 episode of AEW Dark, where they lost to The Dark Order (Evil Uno & Stu Grayson). They later made their AEW TV debut on the March 11, 2021, episode of Dynamite by losing a 10-man tag team match.
Their last televised match was on the July 6th episode of Dynamite, where The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster) & The Gunn Club (Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn) defeated Fuego Del Sol & Ruffin It (Boulder, Bronson & Leon Ruffin).
