AEW has offered a contract to former WWE star

EJ Nduka, a 6-foot-5 former college football player and bodybuilder who previously wrestled for NXT as ‘Ezra Judge,’ pushed through adversity after being let go by WWE and turned his career around.

Nduka made his AEW debut at the most recent Dark tapings last month, and his match, where he lost to Konosuke Takeshita, aired this past Tuesday night.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that AEW has offered the former WWE star a contract. However, it’s unclear whether Nduka has signed the contract.

Meltzer wrote, “After his debut in a streaming match against Konosuke Takeshita, EJ Nduka was offered a full-time contract. We can’t confirm if he signed it but can confirm he was offered it.”

This past Tuesday night also saw EJ’s match against MLW World Heavyweight Champion Alexander Hammerstone air on the MLW Underground premiere on REELZ.

His contract expired in January, and he finished up with the promotion at the Blood & Thunder TV tapings in Philadelphia, PA, on February 4.

Nduka reportedly had interest from multiple companies, including WWE and those in Japan.
