Although AEW is a few months removed from its All In pay-per-view event in London, England, at Wembley Stadium, making it the promotion’s biggest show ever, the company didn’t waste any time in announcing its return to the venue.
The inaugural event
The first show brought in over 70,000 at the turnstile. All In ended up at 200,000 buys on PPV, the most purchased AEW PPV event of 2023 and the biggest since last year’s Double or Nothing.
It featured the main event of MJF retaining the World Heavyweight Title over Adam Cole. It also marked the last match of CM Punk’s tenure with AEW as he went over Samoa Joe in the opening contest.
The promotion is returning next year with All In 2 on Sunday, August 25 with a bigger stage than this year’s show, as Tony Khan was asked for a quicker setup to accommodate additional Taylor Swift shows.
Pre-sale demand
Pre-registered access and priority presales started on Monday, November 27, before the general on sale on Friday, December 1, at 9 a.m. BST via Ticketmaster.co.uk.
WrestleTix noted 27,349 have been sold with 13,054 remaining for a set up of 40,403 in the first two days of the pre-sale. AEW will open up additional seats on Friday. For comparison, the timeline of the last All In pre-sale activity went as the following:
