AEW Revolution is a hot ticket

AEW will start off the year with its first pay-per-view event with Revolution on Sunday, March 3, 2023, from the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC. The build toward the show is still ongoing, but do know the event will mark the last match of Sting’s legendary career.

The road to the show

The promotion has decided not to hold pay-per-view events in January or February after hosting its Worlds End 2023 pay-per-view event last month from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Long Island, New York, marked a new chapter in the history of the promotion.

AEW World Champion MJF dropped the title to Samoa Joe in the headliner before MJF was written out of storylines once Adam Cole was revealed as The Devil and formed a new faction with Wardlow, Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, and Mike Bennett when attacking him.

Ticket sales

WrestleTix reports the show has sold 15,289 tickets, with 144 left for a setup of 15,433. The better news is the show sold over 1,587 tickets in the last week.

With nearly two months to go until the show takes place and no matches even being announced, this is a great sign for All Elite Wrestling as the show will look to be sold out by the night of the show.
