AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy vs. Roderick Strong took place at the AEW Revolution 2024 pay-per-view event from the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC.
Strong went right after Cassidy with a drop kick, but missed. They brawled to the floor with Strong landing chops. Strong with a gut wrench slam on the top rope. Strong targeted the rubs of Casidy with countless back breakers. Orange countered a back breaker with a spinning DDT. Cassidy with a panama sunrise off the middle rope for 2. Both guys landed solid shots, but Strong hit his finisher for the win.
Winner: Roderick Strong
Post-match, Kyle O’Reilly returned from surgery where he hugged Strong, but declined to join The Kingdom.
