AEW Tag Team Champions Sting & Darby Allin vs. The Young Bucks in Tornado Tag Team Match, serving as Sting’s retirement match, took place at the AEW Revolution 2024 pay-per-view event from the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC.
Sting’s sons dressed up as past versions of him and took some revenge on the heels. Allin hit an outside dive to start things off. Sting with a dual scorpion death drops. Allin hit a coffin drop to the floor to take out the heels. There were weapons everywhere including glass, tables, ladders and more. They brawled into the crowd. Nick with a falcon arrow off the stage to Allin through two tables. Matt with a suplex off the stage to Sting through a table. Allin dove off a really tall ladder and crashed through a plate of glass that was on chairs. Sting climbed a ladder, but was powerbombed through a table. Sting did not sell it. Sting was sent through glass in the corner. Ricky Steamboat tried to save Sting, but he was taken out. They superkicked Flair. Matt hit Sting in the face with a belt for 2. Bucks with the BTE trigger then dual superkicks. Allin pushed Nick off the top rope through a table. Sting with the scorpion death drop for the near fall. Allin with the coffin drop then the scorpion death lock by Sting on Matt for the win.
