Deonna Purrazzo has locked down the trademark rights to her nickname.
Purrazzo’ journey
Purrazzo signed with WWE in 2018 and worked for the company for two years before being let go in April 2020. She later joined Impact Wrestling in addition to working for other promotions, where she found a lot of success, as she has held the Impact Wrestling Knockouts, AAA Reina De Reinas, and ROH Women’s Titles.
Purrazzo’s contract with TNA Wrestling expired at the start of the year, and she became All Elite earlier this year. She will challenge AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm at Sunday’s Revolution PPV.
The term
The AEW star applied to trademark the term ‘The Virtuosa’ on March 1 with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). It was made through Michael E. Dockins.
