Miro has come to the defense of fellow AEW star Konosuke Takeshita days after Konnan went after the rising star on the latest Keepin’ it 100 episode.
Konnan took issue with Takeshita imitating Eddie Guerrero during his match with AEW World Champion MJF on last week’s Dynamite episode before hitting a frog splash, the iconic finisher of the late wrestler.
“Well Takeshita… he’s got heat with me, and he’s lucky I wasn’t in El Paso. Because when he went up, and he did the f*cking Eddie Guerrero thing for the frog splash, you’re not Mexican dude, I don’t care… Stick to your nationality,” Konnan stated on the show (H/T to Reddit user wrestling678 for the transcription)
Miro took to Twitter today and defended Takeshita by writing the following:
“I bet you all that konnan, or whatever his name was , can’t last 10 sec with @Takesoup.”
Takeshita has yet to respond publicly to the comments made by Konnan.
