Kyle O’Reilly is looking forward to stepping back into the ring again after being sidelined last year due to an injury.
At the end of 2021, O’Reilly arrived in All Elite Wrestling, where he reunited with Bobby Fish and Adam Cole to form The Undisputed Elite with The Young Bucks.
In 2022, O’Reilly worked 15 matches before being sidelined and undergoing neck fusion surgery. His last appearance on AEW TV came on August 3rd.
Since returning to television after being sidelined with a concussion last year, Cole has been feuding with Chris Jericho on television. Last week on Dynamite, Cole was attacked by Jericho and the Jericho Appreciation Society before being handcuffed to the ring ropes, where he watched Saraya attack his girlfriend, Britt Baker.
O’Reilly took to social media to send some kind words to his good friend and also noted that he’s working hard to make a return:
“Thanks bro, I miss you too. My career is meaningless without you and I’m forever grateful to be your friend. Working hard to get back and fight alongside you again someday soon!”
