An injured AEW star had been at least hoping to be ready for this week’s Dynamite episode after being sidelined for the last several weeks with a concussion. However, that won’t be happening.
Sammy Guevara suffered the injury at the WrestleDream pay-per-view event, where he teamed with Will Ospreay and Konosuke Takeshita to defeat Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi.
Following the event, Don Callis announced that Guevara wasn’t medically cleared to wrestle. It was reported that he had been hoping to be cleared in time.

In a post on Twitter, Guevara noted that he hasn’t been cleared just yet and gave a storyline warning to Jericho as well, as seen below:
