AEW star reacts to report about Thunder Rosa’s friends no longer being booked

AEW star Capt. Shawn Dean has addressed Thunder Rosa’s friends no longer being booked by the promotion. Dean books the extras used on Dark and Dark: Elevation.

As previously reported, Dave Meltzer said in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that he was told that a lot of the extras used by AEW that were close to Rosa had not been booked of late, including KiLynn King, Madi Wrenkowski, and Jazmin Allure. There was no reason given as to why the decision was made not to use them.

Dean commented on what Meltzer said and called it false in a post today on Twitter by writing the following:

“It’s the kind of careless reporting like this causing unnecessary issues and problems for no reason! U have no info, yet still report this dumb bs! All those talented women are in good standing. So whoever brought that to ur attention is a liar and a fraud. #Salute.”

It should be noted that Dean is the person who books wrestlers for both Dark and Dark: Elevation.
Meltzer did respond to that tweet by writing the following:

“All are expected back. It was just an observation made and mostly about King seemingly getting a little push and then not being on TV since, but I’m told she’s back and the rest are on the Texas dates.”

Rosa is the AEW Women’s World Champion, and she is said to be out with a back injury. The promotion has created an interim title that Toni Storm currently holds. On Friday’s episode of Busted Open Radio, Rosa addressed the negative rumors and reports about her.
