This afternoon, AEW sent out tweets to congratulate everyone who won a Wrestling Observer award.
FTR won tag team of the year and feud of the year along with Mark and Jay Briscoe. Dax apparently is taking issue with AEW not mentioning FTR in their tweets. In the tweet for feud of the year, they congratulated Mark Briscoe and his late brother Jay but there was no mention of FTR.
Dax tweeted, “Tell me April’s around the corner without telling me April’s around the corner.”
Dax has talked before about his and Cash Wheeler’s contract expiring in April. Some fans have speculated that this is all to swerve fans for a storyline with CM Punk involved but we don’t know that to be the case and if that is the plan, it’s being kept a close secret by a few people. Of course, it’s entirely possible that they sign new deals with AEW or they leave to work on the indies for a while or in WWE. Check out Dax’s tweets below.
