Today’s AEW Rampage ended with a heel turn that has been teased for the last several weeks.
Tonight’s main event was headlined by The Dark Order’s Alex Reynolds and John Silver taking on Rush, The Butcher, and The Blade. Preston Vance was supposed to be there to team with Silver and Reynolds but he was nowhere to be found until the final moments of the match where he ran out to seemingly help his partners.
Instead, Vance attacked The Dark Order and aligned himself with Rush’s faction. Vance also hit Brodie Lee’s Discus clothesline to add insult to injury as Brodie Lee, Jr. looked on from the stage area. Reynolds was also put through a table.
As the show came to a close, Vance threw his mask on the floor in front of Brodie Jr. and then he stood on the stage posing with Rush, The Butcher, The Blade, The Bunny, and Jose The Assistant by his side.
