Fans can expect to see a new behind-the-scenes AEW documentary coming out next year.
Fightful Select reported today that AEW talent and staff were told this past week that the company is set to produce a documentary show that will focus on the behind-the-scenes aspect of a group of wrestlers from the company.
AEW did give wrestlers the option not to be involved in the project. The plan is for filming to start on November 2 at the AEW Dynamite event from the Chesapeake Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. It will last six weeks through the Dynamite show on December 14 at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, TX.
AEW President Tony Khan will serve as Executive Producer for the show, while Shed Media Executive Producer Sam Berns will assist.
Warner Bros. Discovery and Shed Media are collaborating on the production. WBD will air the show sometime in 2023.
AEW previously aired the “Road to the Top” reality series with Cody and Brandi Rhodes on TNT before they departed from the promotion earlier this year. It lasted one season and documented the lives of the married couple.
