AEW is slated to launch a new Saturday night show that is believed to be called Collision. It will air as a two-hour program on TNT starting June 17th, 2023.
This show will join Dynamite, a two-hour program every Wednesday night on TBS, and Rampage, a one-hour broadcast on TNT, as weekly television programs. AEW nor Warner Bros. Discovery has yet to confirm the new show is coming, but will likely do so this month at the UpFronts.
Until recently, AEW had also aired Dark and Dark: Elevation every Monday and Tuesday on Youtube. These shows were used as a developmental brand for the promotion while also giving new talent a look. They’ve signed a lot of talent after wrestlers worked tryout matches on the shows.
As previously reported last week, FITE TV aired a special episode of Dark: Elevation and touted it as the final episode. AEW also didn’t air new episodes of both shows this week.
Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast reported today that Dark and Dark Elevation is coming to an end:
“AEW Dark and Dark Elevation have ended for the time being. This in part has to do with AEW signing a new deal for AEW Collision to air on Saturdays. Part of the new deal is that AEW Wrestling content will exclusively air on WBD. As of today, this doesn’t include ROH.”
