AEW Worlds End results: Adam Copeland wins and loses TNT Title, performs flaming table spot

AEW TNT Champion Christian Cage vs. Adam Copeland in a No DQ Match took place at the AEW Worlds End pay-per-view event from Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York.

Copeland attacked him on the stage to start things off. They brawled into the crowd. Copeland jumped off a section of seating onto Cage and Nick Wayne. Copeland walked the barricade at ringside for a clothesline spot. Copeland was bleeding from his left eyebrow as Cage brought out some kendo stick. Copeland would use a kendo stick then tried to get him to tap out. Copeland got a ladder and sent Cage face first into it. They battled on top of a ladder until Cage hit a sunset flip powerbomb. Cage brought out some tables. Copeland with a DDT on a chair. There was some outside inference by Wayne. Cage connected with a low blow. Wayne hit Copeland in the back of the head with the title then hit Wayne’s World from the middle rope to the floor. They set a table on fire at ringside, but it went out. Copeland had to put more fluid on it. Copeland powerbombed Wayne off the apron onto the table, but it didn’t break. Copeland with a low blow then hit the killswitch for the win. 

Winner: Copeland

Killswitch attacked Copeland after the bout. Killswitch surrendered the contract for a TNT Title match and we got a rematch. Cage pinned Copeland to win back the title.
