Will Ospreay, Konosuke Takeshita, and Sammy Guevara vs. Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi, and Chris Jericho took place at the AEW WrestleDream 2023 pay-per-view event from Seattle, WA at Climate Pledge Arena.
The heels worked over Omega in the early going. Takeshita was using more heel tactics, something picked up on by the announcers. Omega with a back body drop to Will, but Sammy took out Kota and Jericho on the apron, preventing the tag. Takeshita with a blue thunder bomb to Omega then Sammy hit a swanton bomb for 2. Takeshita hit a german suplex to Kota, who landed right on his head. The heels triple themed Jericho. Omega hit an outside dive. Sammy with a spanish fly to Jericho. Sammy with a shooting star press to the floor. Sammy went for a spring board move and Jericho hit a code breaker for 2. Sammy hit a crossbody to take out Golden Lovers. Everyone started to hit superkicks. Omega with v-trigger then went for his finisher, but Will sent him to the floor and hit an outside dive off the top rope. Sammy rolled up Jericho for 2. Jericho hit Will with judas effect to Will. Jericho with the hurricanrona for 2 as Will was holding onto the referee. Jericho avoided GTA and went for the Walls, but Don Callis hit Jericho with his cane and Sammy covered him for the win.
