AEW will be without one of its wrestlers heading into the vacant Tag Team Title Tournament.
All Elite Wrestling created this tournament following Sting’s retirement at Revolution, where he and Darby Allin retained the titles over The Young Bucks in a wild Texas Death Match.
Anthony Henry is out of action, as he noted in a statement posted on X that he suffered a broken jaw. He had been part of the Workhosemen on ROH TV, with their last AEW bout coming in January on Collision, where they put over Sting and Darby Allin.
The injury happened while he was working at a Deadlock Pro Wrestling match on Sunday, where Bryan Keith retained the DPW National Title.
He will have surgery soon. We wish him a speedy recovery.
Update: Absolutely gutted. In last night's match against Bryan Keith, I took a knee strike that broke my jaw. The #workhorsemen had some exciting things coming up. One of which was the @AEW tag team tournament, which we can now not be involved in. I will have surgery soon. pic.twitter.com/E3YnKJ5iyC
