AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door 2 Is Nearly Sold Out

AEW is looking towards the future following Double or Nothing last month with its next pay-per-view event, a co-promoted show with NJPW, Forbidden Door 2, on June 25, 2023, at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The inaugural event took place last June at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois, the first-ever AEW/NJPW co-promoted event, with the main event of Jon Moxley defeating Hiroshi Tanahashi to become the interim AEW World Heavyweight Champion.

The first two matches were revealed for the show at Sunday’s Dominion show as IWGP United States Champion Kenny Omega vs. Will Ospreay and Bryan Danielson vs. Kazuchika Okada will take place.

WrestleTix, which does a great job of tracking ticket sales, noted this morning the show has sold 12,958 tickets, and there are 14 tickets remaining. There are 1,481 tickets available for resale, with the only tickets left being only official platinum.
