Sting, Darby Allin, and Tetsuya Naito vs. Chris Jericho, Minoru Suzuki, and Sammy Guevara took place at the AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door pay-per-view event from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Allin got slapped around by Suzuki in the early going. Sting was given a standing ovation when tagged in. He brought back the Joker face paint that he portrayed for the persona years ago in TNA Wrestling. Sting and Jericho mixed it up before Jericho missed a splash in the corner and Sting put him in the sharpshooter. Sammy went for a cutter, but came up short and landed on Sting’s head. Allin with code red to Sammy. Jericho hit Allin with the judas effect the the codebreaker to Naito. Sting and Naito hit a double team clothesline into a pin on Suzuki for the win.
