Another AEW star may be headed to AAA to work some shows there in the near future.
Nothing has been finalized but The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Andrade El Idolo has expressed an interest in working for AAA.
Dave Meltzer noted that Tony Khan has given Andrade the thumbs up to work elsewhere on dates that do not conflict with AEW. Andrade is not currently booked for anything with New Japan Pro Wrestling or CMLL, two companies who he said years ago that he would like to work for.
Andrade returned to TV a couple of weeks ago as part of the Collision show and he’s been involved in a feud with The House of Black after they attacked him and took his mask. As seen below, it’s very clear that Andrade has been working hard at improving his English promo skills.
